• As with all vintage electronics; I cannot guarantee the working condition of this radio. Today, I powered up this radio after many years of storage; and it did \" LIGHT UP and RECEIVED station WGBZ - ( 1570 AM in Alton, Illinois ) \". However; the tuner dial did not move from there, and the push buttons also didn\'t work. The tuner will need to be re-strung. The volume control worked easily, and increased / decreased the volume up and down when turned. I was able to easily switch bands; but didn\'t get any reception on the other bands due to the dial tuner in need of re-stringing. The Zenith \" COBRA \" turntable has 33 1/3 and 78 RPM capabilities; and while it did turn; it does seem to be stuck on one speed. One back leg has a piece broken off ( Please see last photo ), but the cabinet sits solidly on the ground, without moving. Please see the open center cabinet photo. The broken piece is on the top center shelf; available for the next owner to make the necessary repair if they wish. There are noticeable scratches on the top of the cabinet; otherwise the cabinet is in pristine condition. Additional photos are available upon request.
  
• This is an excellent candidate for restoration.
• This radio is being listed for local pick - up; \" As -is ~ Where Is \". If you wish to have it shipped; feel free to arrange that on your own basis. That would require payment for the radio up front; and a mutually agreed upon time for your shipper to meet me at my house; package; and take it away. This must be done within 10 days of this sale close. I am not attempting to be difficult; only attempting to clean out my garage.
