This rare attachment was made by the renowned Austrian microscope company Reichert in the early 20th century. At the timemost microscopes were monocular tubed instruments and this attachment replaces the eyepiece and clamps onto the eye-tube to allow binocularvision.
It is in excellent optical and cosmetic condition for itsage; all controls work smoothly and the collimation is fine, none of the lensesare damaged or delaminated.
It comes with a pair of contemporary Reichert 6.3x eyepiecesand a facsimile copy of the instructions for use.
