This US Springfield Trapdoor Model 1873 Trowel Bayonet i 14 1/2 inch remains in excellent condition with 80% blue on socket and bright blade showing staining under a light cleaning. The patent marking on socket is poorly stamped with bottom and right side visible. Rotating socket lock works well with detent spring still strong. This is a very good to excellent example that only needs a scabbard and handle plug.
All is functional.
Cosmetically shows signs of usage but for the rest it is a great piece.Please view pictures for further descritpion.... Thank you...!!!
