Clark Voorhees Jr (1911-1980)A very rare eighteen-inch-long, by four and a quarter inch-tall by four and a quarter inch-thick full-bodied whale carving by Clark Voorhees, the son of Clark Greenwood Voorhees (1871-1933) who was one of the founders of the Old Lyme Art Colony. Full-bodied carved whale models are among the rarest of Voorhees\' marine mammal carvings and represent his best carving efforts.This carving is in excellent original condition, no breaks, major dents, or missing teeth, one metal hook is broken, please refer to the pictures to get a better idea of the condition.
