Claims/Disputes
Please allow us the opportunity to correct any error, mistake or issue associated with this purchase, before leaving any negative response. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PACIFIC TIME). If you email or call outside of those hours PLEASE allow up to 3 business days for us to reply. We will respond but we are closed weekends and holidays, so please be patient, we will work with you to answer your questions and concerns.

Please have the following information ready when you call/email:

• 1. Contact name
• 2. Best time & phone number to reach you in addition to your email address (if leaving a voice mail message PLEASE speak slowly and clearly or we will not be able to respond accordingly).
• 3. An invoice number or an item number.

Storage
Unless prior arrangements have been approved, all items are required to be removed or shipped within 14 days of end of sale. Items left beyond the 14 day time allowed, will be subject to storage fees beginning from the day of end of sale, the charge will be determined by the size/weight of the machinery. Items left beyond 30 days will be considered abandoned and buyer forfeits the rights to the item/items. The items will be resold to cover storage fees and buyer will not qualify for any refunds. There Will Be No Exceptions. We are happy to work with you and accommodate your shipping needs to the best of our ability. Sterling Machinery uses third party freight companies across the globe to handle delivery. Sterling is NOT responsible for any delays due to weather, accidents, acts of God or negligence on the part of the freight company. If you are under a deadline for shipment arrival, please note that we DO NOT guarantee dates of delivery. Please account for holidays, weekends, travel conditions and any special circumstances when calculating the time it will take for delivery.

DamageSterling Machinery thoroughly inspects all machinery before it is shipped out. We photograph all machines as they are being loaded for delivery. Once the shipment has left our facility it is NOT our responsibility. Any damage caused in transit, delivery or loading/unloading is the responsibility of the freight carrier. You are responsible for covering INSURANCE with your freight, we will in no way pay for claims on uninsured shipments. Please contact us BEFORE you commit to purchase/offer with any questions you may have.

FreightItems above 149 lbs. must be shipped via freight carrier. Please contact our shipping department for freight quotes. All estimates are subject to change depending upon drop-off location. Carriers will assess an additional charge if delivery is made to a residential area and/or if the services of a lift gate are required. If buyer arranges their own freight, please address any concerns or complaints to the freight company in question. Any claims must be initiated by the buyer. Loading FeesAny Machine up to 35,000 Lbs. Will be loaded onto a flatbed, dropdeck or double drop at NO CHARGE. Loading into a box van. Rear Loading Only. Items cannot be taller than 6.5’ including the pallet and cannot weight more than 7,000 Lbs.- NO CHARGE. Container loading is an extra charge.
