Blade\'s Guide to Knives and their Values lists James Westa as a mid 1800s Sheffield manufacturer. This is a built knife with nice contrast in handle materials bone and horn. It appears it may have possibly had a guard, but it may just be marks from a sheath. See pics and condition report for full details.
