1863 New Testament printed in New York by Carlton and Porter
This edition is more uncommon that the usual American Bible Society printings that look very similar. Nice example of the kind of New TEstament that a Civil War solider may have carried. There is an owner inscription on the front blank that I am not able to make out.
Measures about 4.75\" x 3.25\" and about .5\" thick.
