1928 German Central Bank for Agriculture bond - Deutsche Rentenbank For Sale

The GermanCentral Bank for Agriculture (\"Deutsche Rentenbank-Kreditanstalt Landwirtschaftliche Zentralbank\")provided loans to farmers and agricultural interests prior to World War II.

For saleis a \"Farm Loan Secured 6% Gold Sinking Bond Series A of 1928\" certificate. It was for $1,000 and paid 6% interest twice annually. The bond is dated April 15, 1928 and was due April 15, 1938. The Trustee was the National Bank of New York. The vignette showsa woman surrounded by agricultural products. The bond has attached three Swedish documentary stamps. The bond is sealed and hand-signed.All language is in English, and it was printed in the United States.

This bond measures appx 15x10 inches and is printed on thick paperstock. It is in very good condition, even though it is approaching 90 years old. All writing/markings are from its issuance and processing. It has no rips or tears, but there is one cancellation punch hole. It shows moderate wear.
