1943,1944,1945 J-45 Banner SJ Gibson Wartime Acoustic Guitar
I am selling this for my father. He has had this guitar since mid 1970s. The man he bought it from had Gibson refinish it in the 60s - the reason for the logo and pickgaurd change. It was finished blonde on top and clear reddish on the rest. The bridge, saddle, nut have been changed also. It needs to be set up so it plays right. Guitar is in good shape except one crack in the back about 2\" long. The finish cracking and there are some scratches on the neck from capo. The inside of this guitar is like new it\'s been in its case since he has owned it. Three piece maple neck - one hole where someone had strap on it. Will be shipping in this nice hardshell case. Low reserve.

This is actually called a 5 piece maple neck with the tapered headstock it\'s 1 3/4\" at the nut . No numbers anywhere on guitar and it has the bent wood sides with the cloth strips around inside.
