1947 Martin 000-21 a rare Tapered Braced example w/stunning Brazil Rosewood.:
$22495.00

This is one of the finest & rarest Martin guitars to ever have come out of Nazareth. This is a 1947 000-21 made from the last true War Time period guitars w/factory \"Tapered Braces\" which followed the final Scalloped Braced guitars Post-1944. Its stunning Adirondack Spruce top is just about perfect showing slight play time w/a few rubs marks on its lower bout. It’s got some of the best book-matched figured Brazilian Rosewood back & sides that are simply perfect. Its got most all Martins best features including its Standard X-bracing, Style 21 rosette, its rare & original tortoise pickgard, Select Hardwood Mahogany neck, Solid Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard w/20 frets and Style 21 inlays w/a 1 11/16″ nut width. It\'s got a set of perfect & original single line Kluson Deluxe tuners with metal buttons date specific to 1947 thru 1950 only as used on the Fender Broadcasters. Now 77 years old, this is a magical investment in all respects. Its near perfect original neck set has low action & the original bridge was taken down just a bit, she needs nothing at all but a good player. It is completely crack free w/no issues at all. It is truly excellent having only aged in color & in its overall tone quality. We luv “21” model Martins for their superior tone quality that’s better than any comparable “28” models. We feel the extra layers of bindings on the outer body crimp its tone volume on most 000-28\'s as this 000-21 has 1 layer of tortoise binding which allows more volume of tone to come thru. Other than some weather checking all over, its 1 of the best 000-21’s made w/nice choice woods & tone. Comes complete w/a full COA from Mr. Greig Hutton, the Martin Historian from the Hutton\'s Registry & keeper of all records w/all factory dates from ts 1st date stamped from May 21st, 1947 to its final inspection & completion date of September 17th, 1947. Includes a nice newer hard case.
