1949 Martin 00-18 6-string acoustic guitar
This vintage 1949 C.F. Martin OO-18 guitar has serial # 1087xx (full serial number to be given to buyer immediately following sale). It is in excellent functional condition, plays great and sound amazing, with a beautiful tone that only a vintage 1940s Martin 00-18 can produce. Cosmetically, it is in very good shape, with a normal amount of nicks and scratches from being lovingly playing over the years. The instrument has some crazing in the finish. The inlay and rosette are in excellent shape. No cracks in the back or sides! There is one tight crack in the lower bout of the soundboard, shown in detail in the last picture. Action is a nice 1/8\" at the twelfth fret.
It comes with the pictured well-travelled vintage hardshell case.
