1960\'s Harmony H162 acoutic guitar as is guitar project For Sale

I have been informed that this is model #H162 and is not a H1203, there are no stamps or marks anwhere inside the guitar to indicate it\'s model , I have also been told the tuners have probably been changed, the guitar is still being sold as is and as described regardless of which model it isHere we have a vintage early 1960\'s Harmony model #H1203 Western Special Jumbo acoustic guitar. There are no breaks or cracks anywhere on the guitar, all the braces are tight an intact, the tuners are original and work well ( looks like one button has been replaced but it is a fairly close match to the others ) no serial number or model number stamps that I can find however the straight slot screws on the tuners would indicate this is from the early sixties before Harmony switched over to phillips head screws.The guitar will need some restoration work, it plays well in the first position but the action becomes high as you move down the neck, frets and fretboard are in excellent condition. with the strings pulled tuned up to tension, there is very slight gap that appears around the neck joint, indicating that the glue has let loose and the neck will need a neck reset to correct the angle but it should come out easily as it is slightly loose, a bit of hot water soaked into the open joint or even a touch of steam should release the neck easily. Also, the binding is beginning to rot, it is not crumbling off but it is disintegrating and will need replacing, although not shown, I have the correct tortoise binding and will include 2 pieces of it that are more then long enough to rebind the body , the binding is just slightly oversize so it will be rather easy to scrape it down to the correct size after it is glued on. no case is included with the guitar but it will be double boxed for safe shippingTHIS GUITAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS FOR A RESTORATION PROJECT, ALTHOUGH IT DOES PLAY IN THE FIRST POSITION, IT WILL NEED RESTORATION WORK BY AN EXPERIENCED REPAIR PERSON IN ORDER TO RETURN IT TO IT\'S FULL POTENTIALofferDING WILL START AT $100.00 WITH , SHIPPING WILL BE FIXED AT $65.00 AND INCLUDES TRACKING AND INSURANCE, THERE IS NO CASE WITH THE GUITAR BUT IT WILL BE DOUBLE BOXED FOR SAFE SHIPPING
