Here\'s a 1964 Ford Thunderbird with the Thunderbird High Performance FE 390 engine and automatic transmission. This is a perfect car for someone just looking to do a little tinkering. More details below. The car runs very well and seems to drive fine, although I haven\'t drove it much. New tires, new battery, and more listed in more detailed description below.

1964 Ford Thunderbird 390 Auto Runs and Drives well Good Title. This car had a nice restoration a few years back and ended up driving just a little and then sitting outside for a few years according to the previous owner. Previous owner also stated that the engine and trans and everything were done in that restoration.


New radiator hose, tires, brakes, brake lines, plugs, and more. The car has power windows, seats, and all sorts of cool features. It was absolutely loaded for 1964.

Main concern with the car is the top has rust from from a vinyl top as most of these do. There\'s a couple little holes in the RH pan, but really other than the top this is a pretty solid car. I cut the vinyl top off and the carpet out of that RH side as you can see, so that you could see the rust.

The car does need some tinkering. As you can hear in the video there is a pulley squeaking, probably the idler pulley. Not all of the lights work, the battery has a draw on it, the windows do not roll down, the car needs a really good detailing, the safety neutral switch needs some adjustment (You have to hold park all the way to the left to start the car), and as shown the roof needs some work. It has the typical rust with holes as shown from a vinyl top as you can see. The top did leak whenever the car was sitting outside and messed up the carpet as shown. The passenger pan could use a couple of small patches or sealing possibly, but this car is pretty solid and honestly, I wouldn\'t worry much about the pans. There is some typical bubbling rust on the driver\'s side quarter as you can see around the wheel. This is a really fun car and would be perfect for someone just looking for something to do a little work to and drive. It wouldn\'t take much to get this car back to show quality.
