Glendive, MT: Cattle Losses Heavy in Storm-Beef cattle lie frozen to death or dying in snow-covered range country in eastern Montana, battered by a severe winter storm. Some cattle suffocated from ice jammed in their mouths and nostrils. These beeves were found 22 miles northwest of Glendive, Montana, one of the hardest hit areas.
