1966 Jensen C12Q \'Gold Label\' Speaker For Sale

Arguably the best speaker Leo Fender used in his amps at the time, it was like hitting the jackpot to find one of these \'Gold Label\' installed in your new (1966) Fender amp back in the day. (yes, I got lucky!!) My understanding is that Leo Fender would have to use these more expensive Jensens as the go-to option when his usual supply of less costly Oxford & Utah speakers ran out. Anyway, enough of the history lesson.This speaker was the original speaker in my 1966 Deluxe. The speaker finally gave out about 2003 and was replaced with another identical 1966 \'Gold Label\' Jensen C12Q which is currently still in that amp.The speaker now up for sale was Weber reconed in 2004 and has been used infrequently in my extension speaker cabinet. Time to get rid of it (and other stuff no longer used). Too expensive to send speaker cabinet to Mainland so just selling speaker.Frankly, the speaker sounds better than ever since the recone and it\'s not even broken in yet!
