One amazing and very heavy guitar amplifier. 1968 Fender Super Reverb (not a reissue) with the factory JBL option in excellent condition.
I got this amp from the family of the original owner that claimed this amp had less than 10 hours of playing time on it since it was new. I took it to David Smith of Dabec Amps in Dallas to spruce up the electronics. He also installed two wood braces to help hold the heavy speaker baffle that could be removed but I would not recommend it. The tube chart is barely there. All is working perfectly. This amp is very rare. Not just because of the time capsule condition, but the factory JBL option that makes this one sound HUGE. Also makes this amp very heavy. 80.5 pounds. This would be a great home amp or studio amp. The original padded cover is also in good shape. Non original foot switch included.
I can not believe how low the price is on this amp. The Super Reverb is just not the in amp now because of it\'s size. Ten years ago this amp was $3,500+. Today a Princeton Reverb costs more. Rather than go low I will keep this amp. It is by far the best sounding amp I have ever heard. Talk about a BIG sound. This is the biggest.No shipping because of the weight. Pick up only. We recently looked into the cost to ship and it was over $400. All the tubes and speakers would have to be packedseparately. Pick up only please. Fantastic amp.
