Beginning more than four decades ago and continuing until the early 1990s Dan purchased complete hockey card sets and began relentlessly pursuing NHL players, coaches, and personnel to sign all of their cards. Unlike most signature hounds of the era, Dan focused on hockey trading cards and was simply unparalleled in his tenacity and forcefulness.
