1971 John Deere 4000. I am the second owner of the tractor. I bought it 2 years ago from original owner who retired.. It has 6250 original hours. In 1996 the original owner had the engine overhauled at around 5000 hours. Tractor has synchro range transmission and dual hydraulics. Tractor is mostly original except for normal wear items. Paint is very nice for a 44 year old tractor. I have the original letter from John Deere with warranty certificate. These 4000\'s are becoming highly sought after by collectors. I have seen them bring in the $30K plus range at farm sales. Tractor runs great and shifts fine. One of the nicest original 4000\'s around. Quick hitch does NOT go with tractor.
