Up for sale is my 1976 Mosrite Brass Rail Bicentennial Deluxe. There was a recent listing for #5 of these rare guitars, this is #7. I was pretty amazed to see one of these up for sale, and thought now might be as good a time as any to put mine up for sale as well. From 1976-78 there were 100+ instruments produced, and only between 20 and 25 of the Deluxe models are known to exist. This is #7, and has a less ‘crowded’ control layout than earlier models, featuring humbucking pickups, passive coil splitters with active and passive circuits and stereo outputs as well. The reverse side of the body is home to a decorative matching serial number plate declaring: “Happy Birthday America From the New Mosrite 1776-1976” Original Hardshell case included, great condition – This is DEFINITELY the “Crown Jewel” in my Mosrite collection, but I simply do not play it. I have never gigged with it or played with it at rehearsal, it just sits in the case. I hate to see it go, but would rather have it go to someone who will get enjoyment out of having the guitar.
