Without defect. Gilt fine. Page edges are fine and without any scratches. Gilt is bright and shows well. No issues with joints or hinges with the binding strong and secure. No shelf lean. No attached bookplates or ownership inscriptions. Quite appropriate blue coloured endpapers & pastedowns are very attractive and rather high quality. Page marker fine, also a rather appropriate blue color.
