1980 Yairi YW8000-12 Japan Vintage 12 string Guitar Rare For Sale

Here\'s a vintage Kazuo Yairi 12 string guitar, Signature Series, Model YW-8000-12 in super great condition. It was hand-built in Kazuo\'s shop in Kani Gifu, Japan in 1980. Now, should you know anything about this great late luthier, I don\'t have to tell you that his guitars did not come off a conveyor belt. They were built, fitted and set up individually, by loving expert hands - not by machines and robots. That may very well be why each and every guitar ever made in Kazuo\'s shop that I\'ve been privileged to play (a good number, I assure you) had a unique personality and a very distinctive voice.Heaven knows why Yairi guitars have always been so moderately priced to say the least. I\'ve played some big name guitars that cost up to four times more than an average Yairi, and they would not deserve to even sit in the same closet with Kazuo\'s creations. Those market wizards!Now, should you be a collector in search of an instrument in immaculate, like-new condition, this one is not your cup of tea. What I have here is an awesome (!) player\'s instrument that has been lovingly played for 35 years and shows it, too.No structural damage of any kind, no cracks, no issues I can think of, though a player often has to tweak up his new baby to bring it up to his individual standard of perfection. It has opened up fully and sounds, plays and looks like no other in its price range. While upon close examination you easily find a ding here and there, it is overall cosmetically fine, as pictures show. The front has various indentations that do not go deeper than the finish layer - purely cosmetic. The back, at the bottom, has a couple of foggy spots, earned by the sweat of a hard workin\' player. The natural and mild in my humble opinion wear IS there, but, once again, should you be a player, that is not an issue at all. Once you\'ve made this beauty sing, that\'s a love affair between the two of you right there!Please examine the pictures and, should you need to know more, just let me know. Naturally, the guitar comes with its original case that has scuffs and wear marks, but still is sound. Even the original hang tag and some cards and stickers are still in there, since they\'ve never been of any interest to me.

The return process has to be initiated within 48 hours of delivery. Otherwise all sales are final.The guitar will be detuned, safely packed and shipped via UPS with full insurance and a mini humidifier included. In all these years I have not had any issues with UPS.
