2 different antique old cast iron wood coal stove lifters with slotted handles For Sale

Tonight I\'m listing several sales on of many old, not new or reproduction, antique cast iron stove lid lifters & grate shaker handles. they were used to lifter the lids on the old wood & coal burning stoves, parlor heaters & ranges for cooking. 1 of them is made by & marked from the famous Griswold Erie Pa cast iron foundry & also have a rare 1 for a larger toy or salesman sample stove.. please see all the listings of mine for all the different ones for sale..this sale is for 2 different style lid lifter handles, they have the patented \"stay cool\" slotted, open ventilated handle designed to keep you from burning your hand if the lifter is left on a hot stove. 1 lifter is the standard shape & style while the other 1 is what I call a \"inverted\" style handle. the hand grip is actually upside down, you don\'t see many of these out there, they were designed to fit your hand maybe more comfortable but, I imagine that most people back in the day were used to the standard style & didn\'t buy many of these, therefore the reason they don\'t show up on the market very often. both are in excellent condition, the standard 1 has been cleaned & retains a good coat of black stove paint while the rare handle 1 is what appears to be an \"old new stock\" item, in that it has no wear look & is in the original \"clean iron\" condition so, I left it alone & didn\'t paint it. it has the mold number \" 134 \" stamped in to the arm & a stamped ornate design down at the lift-tongue. you get both handles pictured in this sale only, for 1 low starting price.
