These are the strongest magnets on any mirrors sold anywhere
The magnets on these mirrors are the start of metal fishing magnets and these will work to attach the mirrors to sheet metal. Because magnets don’t reach full strength until attached to 1/2” thick un-painted steel the lower strength magnetic mirrors did not work well when attached to sheet metal they could be knocked loose when hitting bumps. These magnets take care of that problem.
All hardware used is stainless steel to prevent rust the glass is real glass and the frame and bracket are ABS plastic that will not get brittle and crumble after a couple of weeks of use in the sun.While these mirrors are not steel they are durable and made of quality material they are in use on my personal equipment and have been for 4 years. Prior to creating these mirrors I had paid $299 for a bolt on set of mirrors from a Kubota dealership and they didn’t even last a month and they were broken from a branch hitting them while one of the guys on my crew was cleaning a jobsite. After the replacement mirror was broken the exact same way I decided that I was going to create a mirror that I could remove from my tractor after I used it and prevent my crew from breaking it as I had paid over $500 for less than a month of use and I have now had a set of these magnetic mirrors in use on the same tractor for 4 years. While I have had 2 broken to guys not removing them prior to driving the tractor through brush and low limbs on trees I still don’t even have 10% of the money in having them for 4 years of use compared to the 2 weeks of use I got from the mirrors I purchased at th Kubota dealership.The convenience of having side view mirrors on my tractor is amazing and becomes more and more a necessity as I get older.The view is great if I’m looking for traffic behind me or watching my 3 point implement it has a clear visible view even when I’m in a field on bumpy ground I can still clearly see the bush hog or whatever implement I’m using and don’t have to sit sideways in my seat turning my head back and forth to safely operate the tractor.
