Up for sale is a small 3 1/2x antique prismatic opera glass/binocular made by the fine British firm of Negretti & Zambra Opticians London & Paris. The glass is in collimation. The glass\'s barrels are covered with purple mother of pearl panels and has a serial number of 30299. In looking backwards through the glass at a light source one can see obvious clouding, but the glass will focus to produce a good image. The central focusing wheel works as it should, but the ocular focusing requires one to unscrew the eyecup to move the ocular lens up and down. This is an uncommon glass and rarely comes up for sale.
