A: The unwanted particles found in water are measured in microns.
For example, a filter with a micron rating of 30 will filter out contaminants of 30 micron or larger. Our filter with 99% efficiency rating removes 99% of the particles at all above the 30 micron size.
Q: How to choose the right size?
A: If you choose the right size for your housing, there are not great influence on the flow rate when you replace them.
The size is small: there is a significant drop in flow rate.
The size is large: there is still some sediment in your water.
