This is an original yearbook, not a facsimile. Dark blue imitation leather hardcover with embossed design, 11-1/4\" x 8-5/8\" x 1/4\", 70 pages.
No markings, cover is very worn and frayed on corners and edges of spine, cardboard exposed on corners, front cover dented and creased near upper edge, pages yellowed from age, no torn or creased pages.The 320th Flying Training Detachment, a branch of the 31st Flying Training Wing, began operations at Mustang Field in February 1943 and concluded in November 1944. The training aircraft were primarily the Boeing PT-17 and Fairchild PT-19 (both two-seater single-engineaircraft; the PT-17 was a biplane).The book includes individual photos of officers, cadets (in their flight gear and each with a 2 or 3 sentence bio), group photos, photos of activities, and several cartoon illustrations.
