OVERVIEW

The Dunlop Grandtrek AT23 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs.

The tire ensures first-rate controllability. The symmetric tread design and the flat footprint work together to keep the tire's contact with the road surface at all times. The maintained road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. This increases the steering response time and accuracy during the drive, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. The optimized shoulder tread pattern enhances the cornering capability. Its siping detail heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during the tire's maneuvering, guaranteeing high driving safely levels.

The model's strengthened internal structure upgrades its load durability. The special twin steel belt construction is reinforced with a polyester cord body. This construction manages to maintain the tire's ideal shape under the load and driving pressure. This allows the tire to boost the load carrying and withstanding capability, without the deformation of the ideal tire shape. In this manner, the tire ensures a secure performance and a better load capacity.

The tread pattern and all season tire compound improve the all weather traction. The detailed symmetric pattern features a high siping density which upgrades the number of biting edges gripping the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The all season tire compound enhances the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, which keeps the tire pliable all year. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint, which significantly improves the wet and winter weather performance.

The Grandtrek AT23 promotes a comfortable drive. The tread's five pitch sequence lowers the road noise levels generated while the tires are in motion. The pitch sequence lowers the road and tread pattern noise by negating the soundwaves with a special sound cancelling frequency, before they can reach the vehicle's cabin. The polyester cord body improves the driving comfort by reducing the road vibrations felt by the passengers. This results in a comfortable and quiet driving experience.
