This is an opportunity to own one Altec Lansing LF215-4A-G 2 x 15\" speaker cabinet that is new without the box. It contains no components. The price shown is for cabinet with grill and logo only. This model speaker cabinet looks great and is trapezoidal shaped. This is the charcoal gray version.
This speaker is a 2 x 15\" design which makes it perfect to use as subwoofers or mid-basses depending on your application needs. It originally housed two 4156-8a 15\" woofers. It has the perfect cutouts for drivers that are considered 16\" woofers such as various 421s 515s the 4156 and 3156 among others.
The woofers from these were used in other projects leaving behind beautiful cabinets that come complete with grills and logos. Please remember that no electronic components are included in this listing. You get the cabinet pictured with grill and logo only. The only wear to note is a small hole in the grill cloth that is almost unnoticeable. It is smaller than the eraser head on a pencil and is shown in the last photo.
Please note that if your woofer is not a \"16 inch\" type of 15\" woofer that they will not be an exact fit. These require a woofer that has a bolt circle diameter of 15.063\" and an outside diameter of about 15.875\".

The LF215-4A is a dual 15\" / 380mm subwoofer with the same footprint as the Altec Lansing DE6412 and DE9412 Duplex full-range speaker systems. In addition to its use with Altec\'s DE& DS-series full-range speaker systems, the LF215-4A can be easily incorporated into component-based sound systems. TheLF215-4A has been designed to provide extended low frequency performance in Auditoriums, Performing Arts Centers, Houses of Worship, or any facility requiring low frequency reinforcement for full-range music reproduction.
Two of the Altec model 4156-8A 15\" / 380mm woofers are used in the LF215-4A. The drivers may be connected in parallel (for a single four ohm load) or driven individually (for two, eight ohm loads) via a switch and separate driver inputs. This robust component has been designed to deliver tight, punchy low frequency reproduction in vented speaker cabinets. The 4156-8A has a corrosion resistant die-cast frame and moisture-resistant cone for maximum durability in all environments.
The 13-ply birch plywood enclosure is paintable, and features steel reinforced suspension points. Altec Lansing includes a forged eyebolt suspension kit with each subwoofer. Input connections are via barrier strip or Neutrik. The LF215-4A is offered in either charcoal grey or white, with contrasting cloth covered metal grille. Altec Lansing includes neutral grille cloth with each subwoofer, allowing you to dye the cloth to integrate the subwoofer into the surroundings. The LF215-4A is designed to work in conjunction with Altec\'s DE6412 and DE9412 Duplex systems. Presets are available for the Altec Lansing 4048A4-in x 8-out DSP Processor, allowing the system designer to easily incorporate the LF215-4A into multi-channel applications
