Size is approx 4\" X 6 7/8\" Slightly oversized it makes it easy to put your checks and check register in the pockets! with the additional length I have customers that wanted room to carry a BIC (or other) slim line pen inside their checkbook and it works well with the new 40 check pads thatthe banks have started printing. Theseare not mass produced they are handmade ,in the USA, by me, 1 at a time..Thanks for looking!Note: Because this is a \"natural\" product and not a lesser expensive embossed leather or vinyl , grain patterns,color shade, and range marks will vary with eachpiece!Special Note RE: Check registers,the check companies have gotten \"really cheap\" on printing check registers so instead of using stiffer cover stock on the outside of them they use a very soft paper.You need to slowly \"work\" the register into the pocket or trim it slightly. Because of the thin paper they are using this also occurs on the inexpensive vinyl covers they furnish with your checks at no charge! The checkbook cover is as advertised and it is oversized, but I’ve been looking for this particular thing on for about a year with no luck until this purchase.  my register, and my trackpad fit perfectly in this and I also have room for a pen.
