Antique SurveyingBuilder’s Transit
Not knowing much about these, we arenot sure who the manufacturer is. The top of case has a plaque that reads “Lietz”which is Japanese and on inside there is one that reads
“Stadia Hairs”.
On the transit itself it reads “Japan 3-1/2”X 8 THDS”
It is model #115 -- No_.38088
Look to be in good condition butcould use cleaning because of dust. Case is in good condition but leathercarrying strap has been repaired and strap is weathered badly, should bereplaced.
