This is an original watercolor painting from the 19th century.
It depicts a seascape with two sailboats, one of which is in distress (POSSIBLY) in the background with Smoke coming off the Sailboat.
The painting is signed by the artist WR. Trying to figure out artist but have not been successful yet.
MEASUREMENTS: The actual Watercolor measures 4\" x 6\"; the frame measures 13\" x 15\".
CONDITION: In good, antique condition. As you can see, the Matte is stained and browned and will need to be redone (In my opinion). I love the original frame and it has a couple of spots where the Gesso is gone.
