Aerolite 103 Ultralight:
$7,000

This is an Aero-lite 103 registered 6/12/99. It has 127 tac hours on the engine & airframe. Engine is a Rotax 447, prop is a ground adjustable Powerfin. It also has a BRS-5 emergency parachute. It rotates at 30 mph, cruises about 60 mph & stalls at 26-35 mph. You'll need about 100 - 200 ft. for take off & landing. Fuel capacity is about 5 gallons & it should burn about 2 gallons an hour. The condition of the fabric is excellent & the overall airplane condition is good to excellent. I just had a Rotax & ultralight mechanic out to look it over & fire it up & he thought it looked & sounded pretty good. I would be happy to have you talk with him about the airplane if you like. You will notice on a couple of the pictures what appears to be holes in the windshield & seat. Those are bullet hole DECALS. There are no holes or cracks. It has always been hangared. I bought it around 2007 as a project with the intent of flying it out of my grass strip in back of my house. I am a licensed private pilot, however the openness of the cockpit area & under the seat bothers the hell out of me & I don't wish to fly it. I have fast taxied & had it about a foot off the ground briefly. I have all the manuals. It does need a couple of small plexiglass covers on the top & bottom where the wings attach. I have them but I just can't find them. Also it appears to need a new cylinder head temperature probe. As I stated, I have a runway in back & after you buy you can fly it right home if you choose to. I'm not interested in trades. I'm starting the sale at $8,500.00 & I will entertain offers. As this is a single seat ultralight no pilot's licence is required. However, because it is only a single seater, I will not allow anyone to test taxi or test fly the airplane without a serious deposit. Any damage dueby that prospective buyer is his/her responsibility alone & the deposit will go toward any & all repair needs. There are no warranties & the sale is final, so do your research & by all means come out & look at the plane. A 10% deposit is required w/in 48 hrs. of sale ending. My name is Steve Engel & I'll be happy to answer any & all questions. You can write me here or contact me at 574/232-3800 between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm eastern or 574/936-5255 after 4:30 pm eastern.
