Up for offer is a pocketed aluminum split frame that can be used to make a silicone, epoxy, or 3d printed injection mold for your project.
This frame will work with benchtop style injectionmold machines such as LNS Technologies, AB Machinery, Emco, or other similar styles that inject perpendicularto the clamping direction. You can also use this for pour casting.
The frame is 4.25\" wide x 2.5\" tall with a closed thickness of 1\". Each half has a 3\" x 2\" cavity with a 0.4\" depth, providing a total cavity thickness of 0.8\". There are two 1/4\" guide pins on each side for alignment and a 1/8\" diameter sprue hole centered on the top. Machined tolerances are +-.010. The outside length is cut by bandsaw with a +-.030 tolerance.
There are plenty of videos on youtube showing how to use this design. I recommend starting with TheCrafsMan.
You will receivethe machined pocketed aluminum frame and guide pins with free US shipping. Please examine all pictures and ask questions before buying. These are made at order and take a couple days for me to finish due to my full-time work schedule.
