Original American Flyer from 1952. Close to perfect, all original & fully intact, no rust. Patina & lettering very nice and bright. Cleaned and ready to go. Only two of these brown ones has turned up in 30 years of collecting Mini-Craft, making it extremely rare. This news stand is similar to the 271 American Flyer green newsstand, but it has the \"Mini-News Company\" sign on the roof instead of the \"Gilbert News\" sign. It also has more detail. This one also has the rare red magazine boards. The magazines over the news counter area little tattered. Otherwise, it looks close to new. Great patina. The Mini-Craft sticker is on the bottom. It is the only one that we have seen offered with the original box. The original box is probably an 8 on a 1-10 scale. It is stamped Minicraft and the number 100 is clearly there, but somewhat faded.
