Stunning pair of 19th Century Derby Dresden Porcelain Figures both stamped with the Sitzendorf crown and S with lines. The man has his left arm in the air with right arm by his side and has the famous Dresden flowers around around him with a lamb by his side. Woman is playing a tambourine with flowers around her as well and a lamb by her side. Both figures have damage and both have repairs as well. The mans left arm has been reattached as well as the tips of two fingers on his left hand. The bow on his left calf pants leg has damage and several of the leaves to the flowers around him have damage with the tips of the leaves being broken off. The woman has had her left arm reattached at the elbow and left hand thumb reattached as well. She is also missing some tips to the leaves of the flowers around her. That is all of the damage that I can see and it’s not that noticeable unless you do look closely at the figures. I believe I have reduced the price considerably to compensate for the damage and repairs of these figures. I believe the woman’s thumb could definitely have a better repair but the rest actually doesn’t look bad at all.
Man measures 10 1/2” High and woman 9 1/2” High. Both measure about 4 1/2”Long and 4 1/2” Wide. Both are being sold “as-is” with the repairs and damage. Please look carefully at pictures as I have included detailed pictures of the repairs.
