Antique 18th C Wrought Iron Ash shovel, blacksmith made in good condition. The shovel has a brass finial fastened on the top. This would have been a higher-end fireplace item of the time. The handle of the shovel shows evidence of hammering and hand made rivets connection to the shovel pan. See pictures for details. Length overall is 24 inches, shovel pan is 4 inches wide, 5 inches long.
