Antique 1920s-30s era Art Deco Ceiling Light.
Very beautiful antique Art Deco beige/almond thick glass art deco ceiling light fixture. The antique glass shade is in very fair antique condition, there is some light scratches, specks , shale chips/nicks in the enamel & glass, and some scrape speckles on the brass column stem. There is a line imperfection either in the enamel or the glass itself approximately 3/4” long, it is not a cracking check as it is only on one side of the glass, most likely a line striation imperfection in the glass or enamel from when it was made. ((Please use photos and zoom for reference)), and there is also a couple of natural air bubbles in the glass shade, but overall very fair condition considering the light is approximately 100 years old. There is some typical swirling and aging patina scattered on the metal components. All imperfections are very typical for an antique this age.
The light works perfect and is original with the exception of a new updated 2 bulb socket cluster & wires, and some new pieces of hardware that needed replaced. The beige color enamel and texturing along with the darker fluted Deco accents is absolutely gorgeous! The light has been extensively cleaned , refurbished, and polished back to a beautiful shine.
This Fixture is an absolute fabulous design sure to turn heads and spark conversations every time. The fixture is circa 100 years old so there are imperfections scattered throughout as you would expect but overall a wonderful surviving piece of functional art from the great Art Deco era that has been brought back to life to enjoy for decades more to come.
MEASUREMENTS- The light is medium sized, measuring 10 1/2" inches tall x 10” inches diameter.
