ANTIQUE 19THC THICK CARVED WALNUT VICTORIAN ANEROID BAROMETER & THERMOMETERDescriptionThis is a beautiful antique 19thc victorian solid thick carved walnut aneroid barometer with thermometer and mirrorThe design of the barometer is superb as im sure you can see from the pictures, the walnut has a fantastic patina and colour to it which is acquired through ageThe case also has some superb carved decoration to it with various designs all of which are photographed for you to see in detailBoth the barometer and thermometer dials are in excellent condition with a alcohol glass thermometer tubeBoth the barometer and thermometer are in good working order and in excellent conditionThe barometer features a convex mirror to the top with a brass bezel and a latch on back door which provides access to the back of the mirrorThe barometer measures 35.25 inches high x 12 inches wide x 3 inches deepThis is a superb original victorian barometer combination and one for the serious collection, one of the best i have ownedDate: Circa - 1880Origin: EnglishViewing or Collection of any of our Items is fully Recommended and very welcomed from our Premises

All antique clocks no matter how well they have been serviced will always require setting up after transit, some will go straight away after setting up but most will require further adjustments in order to keep them going i.e (setting into beat, adjusting bell or bell hammer to sync with each other, regulating for time keeping), full setting up instructions will be sent with the clocks but they may require extra adjustments and we fully recommend you use an experienced clock person or professional clock maker to set the clock up for youAll our clocks are tested before they leave the workshop so when you receive them they could only have setting up issues, no postage refunds will be made for clocks returned that have setting up issues and restocking fees may apply, please remember this before offerding and please only purchase an antique clock if you have a professional or experienced clock maker to set them up for you and to make any adjustments that are necessaryAntique clocks are expected to be within 5 minutes per day accuracy either way approx 1/2 hour per week, any clock keeping time within this time-frame is said to be keeping good timeThankyou for taking the time to read and i would like to wish you good luck offerding
