We feel this is an earlier, 1890\'s decoy given condition and style. Our followers will decide.
This Ira Hudson decoy is in all original paint and has wonderful details. One side of the body has several carved lines as you see. If there is any repainted area it would be in the neck, head area, (only an opinion) Although there is paint loss and the separations and losses you see in the neck area, it is still a rare and all original decoy; with carved eyes and great form. Old label identifying the decoy and original weights. A true period decoy.
