For your offerding consideration is an antique 19th century dovetailed copper spirit kettle. It is a beautiful piece with \"The Jolly Anglers\" fishing creel and fish embossed/etched in the copper. The Jolly Anglers Middlesex Wharf is in England. I\'m assuming this must have been a prize for a fishing competition in the late 19th century.It has the William Soutter & Sons Hallmark along with the RARE \"H\" under the Hallmark (which may stand for Hockley).It also has a number 5 on the bottom. It has a acorn shape lid. It measures 6 3/8\" from top of handle to the top of the kettle.It\'s 13 1/4\" tall, the kettle itself is 8 1/2\" at the widest point, and to the end of the spout is 13\",It is in good condition considering it is over 100 years old! The handle looks a little crooked. Please refer to pictures and email and questions.I purchased this from an estate sale of a collector of 18th & 19th century items.
