Pair of Antique E.G. Webster & Son Silver-plated Brides Baskets with Repousse Design Cupids and flowers, very detailed. Handles are attached to the sides, do not move. Condition is Fair I would say. It does looks as if much of the silver has been worn or polished off. Most of these baskets that were made by E.G.Webster were silver plating over copper. The only Markings that I can find are “E G W & S” on the bottom of basket. This is the hallmark of E.G. Webster & Son
Circa 1886 -1928.
These have not been cleaned or polished (I did lightly dust with a soft cloth). Stunning pieces would look beautiful with fresh flowers, wedding or home decor. Please review photos for best description.
