Antique Edward Challimor Florilla Pattern Ironstone Handleless Cup And Saucer.
This is a lovely old handleless cup and saucer made by Edward Challimor 1842-1867. The pottery was originally located at Pinnox works and later from 1862 it was changed to Unicorn Pottery located in Tunstall, Stroke on Trent , England. This is a pretty polychrome pattern with purple transferware.
It is a set of an early handleless teacup and saucer. There is age related crazing throughout the piece. There are some rough spots on the rims and some small spots of discoloration. There are no chips or cracks on this set. The colors are simply beautiful. Please view photos for condition.
