Antique French Gilt Metal Clock Case Hand Painted Porcelain Inserts Limoge For Sale

Up for sale is this antique French clock case. It features wonderful hand painted porcelain insert with cherubs, marked on the back CFH/GDM France. The gold finish has been redone at some point, and it shows some wear in spots. There is a chip/imperfection in the top porcelain insert on its back bottom side, shown up close in a photo. Also in the last photo I tried to show a spot where there is a crack or fault in the casting and you can see through it, I noticed two other spots where this also is, one on the right side of the case, and another on the left side under the bezel. I don't think these effect the integrity of the case, and you can only notice them on close inspection. The case measures about 17" x 8 3/4" x 5 3/4". The movement hole is about 3 15/16" diameter.
