Antique French Hand Painted Regency Lady Portrait Miniature in Gilt Ormolu FrameNice antique hand painted portrait of a Regency era lady with a yellow rose in her brunette hair. She has a red early to mid 1830s style dress I believe the portrait is later though. In a gilt ormolu frame with scrollwork at the top. The portrait is signed, but the signature is partially under the edge of the frame. Has wear and tarnish to the gilt ormolu frame. The frame also originally had an easel back, but the easel leg has been broken off. Otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide x 6 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. BX
