This is a real beauty,an eye catcher for every home.
Very fine ornate and moulded gilt bonze mantel clock set garniture with hand painted blue Sevresporcelain.
Clock and vases are on the original wooden support with green cloth.
Porcelain inserts are traditionally decorated with genre gallant scenes ofthe 18th century.
The clock is surmounted with earedporcelain vase.
All porcelain is ornate with gilt highlights and beads. The gilt highlights om the vases andthe clock has some wear .
The condition of this clock set can be described as good antique condition.
Some dull places on gilding, somedamage of wooden supports.
French movement is in good running and striking condition chiming at the1/1 and 1/2 hours on a bell.
The movement stamped by very famous clock maker: JAPY FRERES & Cie MED. D’ HONNEUR
Key, bell & pendulum (replacement) included.
