This listing is for an Antique J.W. York & Sons Engraved Silver Trumpet Grand Rapids MI Vtg. This item is being sold as-is; I am not familiar with the ins and outs of trumpets and do not play. The Closures are intact & appear to work. It has a lovely bit of engraving work. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor.
It is in good condition, with no major damage. Has some minor denting & wear to the plate as is usual. The only thing I see that would stop it from working are two very small perforations in one small tubing area. Looks easy to patch or replace.
