This is a nice antique Mahogany lap desk from the late 1800s. It is in very good original condition and displays very well. It has a small brass inlay on the top, There is a lid onthetop section that would hold the pens and the bottom section opens to hold writing paper. The Lapdesk measures 12 inches wideby 9 inches and is 4 1/2 inches tall, closed. Openit measures 18 1/2 inches long. It comes with it\'s original key. Displays very well.
