Very unusual survey compass. Purchased at an estate sale recently. Only story I got from the family was that it was found in the attic of the house when purchased by the grandmother and they believe it was left there by last owner.i tried doing some research but came up with nothing so rather then have it looked at I would just put it up on for a starting price of what was out there. Please excuse if I may be to high on the price but hey you gotta start somewhere. Obviously this is a sale so if I\'m within reason then offer away! If my listing looks incorrect like the name Messer (not sure if it\'s Mefsner) then by all means let me no. Comes with everything pictured.and box is in good shape minus 1 missing hook latch.
