Antique Solid Gold & Natural Amethyst Brooch - Gorgeous!.
This brooch is in an excellent condition.
The natural amethyst stone is masterfully cut and measures 9 mm in diameter.
The bar is in solid gold, 5 mm long.
Like most jewellery of its age, this piece is unmarked. It passed my test for gold. I’m not able to measure the quality of precious metals, but from my experience, I feel confident that this is much better than 9Ct gold.
