Lovely Antique Victorian Taxidermy Bird male and female mates (Oriole and Goldfinch - American backyard dazzlers!) in a meadow. Diorama w/ painted landscape with trees in the background, dramatic clouds, and real dried botanicals on the bottom. Birds are perched on a branch that has always had a bit of wiggle. Very romantic would make an amazing wedding or anniversary gift. Frame is ornamental matte gold paint over, I think, gesso or plaster; glass is convex.
